Petition by Taqi to Hazrat ‘Illiyah ‘Aliyah
Ghulam-zadah Taqi writes to Hazrat ‘Illiyah ‘Aliyah sharing his concern about the wickedness of Mirza ‘Ali, the son of Mir ‘Abd al-‘Ali Kafi al-Mulki, toward the daughter of Mir Fattah Kafi al-Mulki. She rejected Mirza ‘Ali for marriage, stating that she is too old for marriage and has to raise her underaged children, but Mirza ‘Ali started harassing her by going to her house and on top of its roof. Taxes of Mulla ‘Ali and his wife, 1925
Mulla ‘Ali Dizaji Ahari writes to Hujjat al-Islam about the demand of the Department of Taxes in Ahar that he and his wife, the daughter of Karbalayi ‘Abbas, pay taxes based on their belonging to the Qarachurlu clan. He states that they do not belong to the Qarachurlu clan; also argues that taxing of women is not common, and asks the addressee to mediate with the head of the Tax Department. On the margin, Ayatollah Sadiq Tababayi has requested Amin al-Ulama’ to review this case.
